At Lock and Bull Defense LLC, we believe self-defense is more than learning how to defend yourself—it's about developing the confidence, awareness, and mindset to navigate life's challenges safely and with purpose. Our mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities through practical self-defense education that builds confidence, resilience, discipline, and personal responsibility.

Our story is deeply personal. Both Michael and Raiai Bull witnessed the devastating effects of domestic violence growing up, as each of our mothers experienced abusive relationships. Those experiences shaped our passion for helping others recognize danger, establish healthy boundaries, and develop the confidence to protect themselves and those they love. As a survivor of domestic violence herself, Raiai understands firsthand the life-changing impact that confidence, education, and preparedness can have. Together, we founded Lock and Bull Defense with one goal: to help prevent victimization through education, empowerment, and practical training.

Our vision is to become a trusted community partner for schools, churches, businesses, and organizations by providing professional instruction that empowers people to live safer, stronger, and more confident lives.
